Lunch Break  (28m, USA)
Directed by: John McKelvey
Narrative Short
Synopsis
In 1995, John W. McKelvey videotapes himself telling close friend/ unrequited love
Tiffany Anne Carrin, 'someday I'm going to make a movie about you.' Ten years later,
he shows up unannounced at the supermarket where she works, with camerawoman
Elise Falanga in tow. He soon learns that they've arrived on the same day that a group
of managers from out of town have dropped by for an 'informal inspection,' which inevitably
means lay-offs. Still Tiffany, now married with children, consents to be filmed; and John and
Elise sneak around the supermarket, filming without permission, as Tiffany pours out her
frustrations, concerns and fears on what looks to be her last day of employment.
